"Had Lasek done on 2/24/12 one of the best choices I've ever made. An amazing staff and prompt service were definitely an asset. The experience was almost a pleasure. I had read several blogs about how painful this procedure was and how much longer the recovery time would be, I must admit I was a little scared. "I am so happy that I went for this surgery with Dr Harvey Carter at the Carter Eye Center. I underwent PRK surgery in order to correct my eyesight and free myself from contacts and glasses. Dr Harvey Carter was conservative but very skilled and made sure that I was a candidate for laser eye surgery before he took my money. My eyes were very thoroughly checked to ensure that I was getting the right treatment for my eye condition. I was helped throughout the entire process of the surgery and they doctor and staff was very informative and helpful. Getting this surgery is defiantly the biggest thing that I have done for myself. I read this thing the other day about the health issues with wearing contact lenses for so long. I am not sure if it is true but it gave me a little nudge to just go ahead and get the procedure done. I definitely, definitely recommend Dr Carter and the Carter Eye Center!"

"I recently had laser eye surgery at the Carter Eye Center with Dr Harvey Carter. I am very pleased with the results and the decision that I made to go there. The doctor had come very highly recommended by a friend of mine who had gotten vision correction there many years ago and is still seeing perfect.My husband and I decided to do the surgery on the same day and our daughter volunteered to drive us home after the surgery. We were both pleased with the way that the staff and the doctor handled us and procedure. My daughter also thought that everyone there was very polite. You could tell that the staff really like their jobs but it was also as if they were excited to be changing people's lives.It really was a great experience and one that we are very thankful for. "I had Lasik on June 3rd. I woke up the next morning able to see the television and clock without any glasses. Yeah!!! What a great office. Wonderful staff....friendly and helpful. "I was looking for a new eye doctor and Carter Eye Center is one of several in the Dallas area that took my insurance. The office is also located close to my house. I looked up a couple of the ones that took my insurance and saw that Carter Eye Center had really great reviews so I decided to try using them for my eye exam. Overall, my experience was very good. I had an appointment with the eye doctor at this location. They were very thorough with my medical history and during my appointment at Carter Eye Center. It was a good experience, I have really bad vision so it was really nice that he took the time to very thorough. I am used to people rushing in, seeing me really quick, then rushing out. That was not the case here. I got my prescription for my contacts and can say that this will be my new eye doctor for the long haul. Thank you Carter Eye Center! "

"Carter Eye Center was the best! Everyone from the Doctor (Dr. Harvey Carter) and the staff at the center were amazing. Every person there was friendly and there for me every step of the way. They have that Carter Custom Care type of service and it really was true. I would recommend anyone that wants to get LASIK to go to Carter Eye Center. My only complaint about the center was that the wait time was a little long, but show me a doctor's office where this is not true. I also saw on his website that he performed lasik on Troy Aikmen. That is pretty cool that I got lasik from the same person that did his eyes!"

"I went to the Carter Eye Center in Dallas for my lasik surgery several months ago. While in the process of choosing my surgeon I went to Dr. Booth as well as Lasik Plus, but as soon as I went to the Carter Center I knew that they were the right people to trust with my eyes. The staff was very professional and friendly. I can honestly say they exceeded my expectations. I was expecting a pushy sales person but the sales man took his time with me and explained the different procedures and costs clearly. The nurses were knowledgeable and Dr. Harvey did a great job. "I had a really great experience with Carter Eye Center. I decided to get intraLASIK surgery from them and I can not imagine having a better experience. They were very responsive to everything I asked, all my questions were answered AND I now have perfect vision. There really isn't anything else that I would have liked better.
